53 days left of this pregnancy if I make it that long. As of yesterday at my
appt I am up 20lbs and measuring 37.5 weeks. ( I am only 32 weeks!!) My doc said to not be
concerned and we will do an u/s in a few weeks to see why I am
measuring so big. Easy for him to say since he is not the one carrying around this heavy belly. I will say I def feel like I am 37 weeks vs 32!
I am feeling a bit
overwhelmed by the things that still need to be done. I have procrastinated and now I
don't want to do any of them
LOL! The main thing is the boys room. We still have to paint and I have to finish the bedding I am making for
Josiah's crib. I have it pinned, just need to sew it. My
SIL is watching the kids overnight in April so P and I can paint their room and then go out on a date for our 7 year anniversary.
Last week we gave our 13 yr old cat some new flea medicine. It took him down. Liver and kidney failure :( We spend 400$ at the vet for
meds and a few nights of stay for IV fluids. We picked him up last night and its going to be the next few days will determine whether he will be
OK or if we will have to put him to sleep. We got him a few months after we started dating so its been HARD on both of us. He seems to be doing good, eyes are open wide, puring, slept with us last night like usual and had a bit of food and water.
My son is now potty trained! It just clicked one day a few weeks ago and he has been dry ever since. He is waking up from naps and bedtime dry about 3/4 of the time. So I am thinking that in a few weeks we might try to go diaperless all together. So now instead of buying him diapers I am spending the money on diapers for Josiah.
I have about 3 weeks of work left before maternity leave. I CANT wait. I have the 1st week off all to myself, kids will still be in daycare, then the next few weeks they will be there part time and then home with me after I have Josiah. Fortunatly I have a lot of family and friends around to help with them once I go into labor and after I have Josiah if I need a little break!
I am ready to have my little Josi here and ready to get back to losing weight and running!
