My calves are sore...that's a good thing! I plan to get my workout in at lunch today. Brought my deodorant for after LOL! I don't typically workout at lunch time since I have no shower to get back to decent shape. But if i don't do it at lunch, I just know I wont do it. Life group right after work, then many many hello kitty cake pops to be made.
Made a really good steak last night, but as I was cutting my carrots they were dry and gross looking, so I opted for some broccoli. Fresh steamed broccoli. Yummy! I will get some new carrots today! I will say I am enjoying the waffles/pancakes for breakfast. I have had more oatmeal in the past 6 months that its nice to be able to skip that!
OK so poached eggs. I had to google how to make them. So they are like hard boiled eggs, but the yolk is runny? What is the difference is eating an egg this way versus preparing it sunny side up in a pan? I use Pam and no additional oil or grease. Share your thoughts please?
Today I have a peach. Not a fan of the hairy skin, so that will have to go, but hoping I will enjoy it somewhat so I can add it to my small list of fruits I actually like. This new eating is stretching me big time. New fruits....even going to attempt to eat fish this weekend. Any good ways to prepare flounder? I have never once cooked fish!

I don't know what the diff is between the eggs. They all have the same calories if they're all cooked the same way, right? I have an egg poacher so it makes it a ton easier. And I usually get my yolks semihard.

Jen, I looked on my fitnesspal to see if there was any difference in poached or sunny side up in pam and there is nothing. The same. So I'd fix them the way you like best.
You'll find a bunch of fruit you'll like, just keep trying.
For fish, I put it in a glass dish, lightly spray it with pam sprinkle on garlic and herb spices and just a tad bit of salt. Microwave for 3-4 minutes. It's tasty and very good for you.

I like poached because they are easier for me to do. I have a neat little microwave egg poacher that can do two eggs at a time. The yolk does not have to be runny unless you want it that way.:)
I agree with Julie on the fish. I also add a squirt of fresh lemon juice before eating.
I am the same with fruit. I love apples and bananas... but everything else is just ok. I sometimes have to force fruit.

I love peaches with vanilla yogurt!
an egg is an egg...your body does not care how it's cooked...and if you don't like peaches but a small apple is the same .now, berries are actually lower in sugar and calories than some other fruit...
