Tonight I did my first day of Couch to 5K and my road to 100 push-ups. I actually surprised myself and was able to run without many problems. I even ran a bit more than the plan suggested since IT FELT REALLY GOOD. Did I just type that?
Now to the push-ups. It tells you to test yourself before you start to see where you fall into the plan. I did FOUR. Yeah four decent push-ups and the 5th I crumbled! I managed to do the first 4 sets without much problems (I only had to do 2 pushups each time)...then came the last set...only having to do 3, I figured NO PROBLEM! Yeah not so much....I did one...the 2nd barely and the 3rd was a joke...my arms were shaking so BAD. I was just glad that P didnt walk in at that moment as I would DIE to tell him oh yeah...that was only pushup #3!
So all in all I had a great day. Tomorrow I plan to do some light weights since I have small group until 9pm-ish. I mean I could get up before work..but lets face it...thats not happening YET!
