Weekend One...day 6 & 7 & 8 - Dehydrated Much?

Very proud to report I did really good this weekend with everything except water. That will have to be my goal for next weekend, STEP up the water! I didn't drink much other stuff, I just didn't drink anything. I had one coffee and one diet A&W through out the weekend.

Last night I went to Applebees with my parents and sister. I had a salad = good....and then had one mozzarella stick, 2 buffalo chicken bites and one small quesadilla. I felt in control, I didn't CHOW down majorly on anything, but ugh I felt SO SICK after I got home. To the point of wanting to throw up LOL! So that helps to keep my head clear about my eating. I didn't over indulge, but I still feel WAY better when I am eating clean. Tonight I am meeting a bunch of friends at The Elephant Bar. So going to make sure to eat something small before I go so I don't get there starving and blow it!


I was down to 212 this morning, last Monday I was back up to 217, so I am happy with the 5 lbs I lost this week. Now I am going to work my butt off this week to lose another good chunk so my weigh in on Thurs is nice!


We are taking the kids to Disneyland in Sept. I want to be able to swim and not feel like a whale, ride rides and be comfortable, walk without being winded. I know 8 weeks isn't a huge amount of time, but even losing 2lbs a week, is still 16 less I have to lug around Disney and I will be down into onerland before my vacation!

The other night I watched the movie Fireproof. I have read and done some of the book, but something in the movie hit me when Kirk Cameron (male lead) smashed up his computer. He was spending to much time on there doing BAD things LOL Anyhow, it got me thinking about the amount of TV I watch in an average day/week. TO MUCH...all the dumb reality shows, cooking shows etc. Thinking ok, if the kids went to bed and I spent 2-3 hours scrap booking, sewing, organizing a closet or baking (all things I love to do), I could get SO much accomplished! So starting tomorrow I will have a no TV week...which means cutting it out for my kids as well. I think the time we can spend together playing and reading will be worth it!



Goals for last week:
1. Get up and work out for 30 mins each morning - I worked out Tues-Fri. I havent decided if I am going to step it up and do weekends too??
2. Drink at least 50oz of water a day - I did this Mon-Fri, weekends not so much!
3. No soda or dessert - I had one diet A&W and some plain popcorn last night, other than that NADA!


Goals for this week:
1. Drink my water - EVEN on the weekends!
2. No dessert or soda
3. No TV!
4. Workout at least 150 minutes!


Total side note...but my son slept from 9:30 - 7:20 when I had to wake him up to get ready for the day!! Talk about feeling good this morning! All things are way more tolerable when you are rested!
