insert title here

I can NEVER come up with a catchy title for my posts LOL! Oh well I know you girls dont come here for the fabulous writing I do here because frankly I stink at getting across what I am thinking into words. I love reading blogs because so many people have the talent to write. To be witty, funny, emotional and you can get caught up in reading and feel like you know them so well. Sorry that probably wont happen here, I am lucky to get words typed out that make sense!

Today hubby is going to the doctor. Sunday at church he got really lightheaded and started seeing spots. Our youth leader is also an EMT so he took his blood pressure and it was through the roof. He took it again Monday night and it was still high. Both his parents and his older brother are all on medication for blood pressure so I am thinking he will be soon too. He is only 31 and in good shape although he doesnt workout, which I think would help. He is also talking to the doctor about the BIG V.... We are done having kids, 2 is perfect, one of each, now that my oldest in heading into pre-k, I cant imagine starting over with an infant. So unless the good Lord has other plans between now and Sept...we are done. He is still not sold on the idea, (and I have no problem getting my tubes tied) so I told him to pray about it for the month of Aug and if he is having doubts I will go in and have my tubes tied. I bounce back from surgery fast, never took a single pain pill with my appendix and was out and about the moment the hospital let me out after having my kids. So we shall see what the next month brings...
And seriously if you have not read this book....go and get it. Its amazing. Short and to the point. Most of the chapters have hit home with me in many ways.

Jen I have read that book, and it is AMAZING... really felt it was an important part of my job as a wife to pray for my husband and that book helped me do it! YEAH!

I hope everything turns out okay with his blood pressure. Scary stuff, but glad he's on top of it!

I like your writing just fine! I feel your emotions when I read your blog, and I think you do a great job of getting things across.

Haven't read the book. We don't have a book store in our small town -- oh, the horror--so will have to check next time I'm in civilization.

The same thing happened to my hubby a while back. He's been on meds for a few years now, and has never had another problem.
It's funny - my hubby has always been thin and "healthy", yet he's the one with the high blood pressure!
