School daze....

This weekend went well other than two hours before the party was supposed to start a pipe in our backyard burst. 10 mins before the party was too start hubby got it fixed. WHEW! Since the party was outside AND we planned for the kids to swim, having no water was not an option. I ate a little too much nacho cheese dip but only had one piece of cake. Then Sat night, all day Sunday and yesterday I was ill. My stomach felt queasy and nothing I ate or drank settled it. Today I finally was feeling better, but as the afternoon has gone on, I feel ill again as well as a pain in my lower back. Not sure what is going on...maybe some early PMS coming on.
Today my daughter started Pre-K. She loved it, asked why we had to stay LOL! I am so excited for her to start this journey into school, friends, an actual life outside of our house...daycare etc. Remind me of this when she starts liking boys and wanting my keys ;) They had the parents stay for the first hour and then we left for orientation in the sanctuary. We came back at noon to get her and had lunch with my sisters and mom (both have kids going to the same school)
I haven't worked out since Friday, bad! Tonight hubby is home and so I can either go run or do my elliptical, but I WILL do something as well as eat salad! Tomorrow is back to running in the mornings. I have to get going on running again for my race in Sept. 10K this time.

Parties are always so fun, but sooooooo nerve wrecking for the parents...I'm going to be home for my grandson's 2nd birthday party later this month...cant wait to see what birthday cake his mom will be making for him.

You have just reminded me - I hve to go run this morning!!!
Enjoy
