Tuesday...Tuesday

I never can come up with a good title for my posts! LOL

Today I got up and headed to the track with my workout partner. We did 2 miles..running some, walking some (more walking than running). She is thin...can run probably both miles while still talking to me...I, on the other hand, run a lap and cant speak a word since I am breathing so hard LOL She is patient and encouraging and she ROCKS! I am so happy to have her on my "Team"!!

My challenge for myself this week is to be able to run one full mile without stopping and to not have a snack after I have dinner. Usually every night I have some popcorn. I air pop it with no butter, but I use salt...and have a diet soda. So I think I am retaining water from eating that. I wake up some mornings and feel so swollen.

I brought my Hungry Girl cookbook today, so while covering lunch at the front desk I plan to find a few things new to try for next week. I have a couple new ones we are eating this week from the Biggest Loser book, I will post the recipes if they are good.

Any good recipes you want to share? I love trying new things!!

2 bottles of water down, some oatmeal and I am now sipping my coffee trying to REALLY wake up!

Way to go on your 2 miles. It's 2 miles whether you run, walk or even crawl there!!!! Your doing it and that's all that matters.

Sometimes I wish I loved closer to fellow bloggers so we could go work out together. I;m in need of a running partner and you would be great for me!!

Keep it up, your doing fantastic!

oh wow i know the feeling of not being able to run one lap. When i first started running I was only using the treadmil... I got up to 5 miles on the treadmill and thought......hm...... no problem, i can run 5 miles on the track.......YEAH RIGHT! I was hardly able to run 1 mile... running outside is crazy hard in the beginning,, but let me encourage you,, if you stay at it and run every other day, your lungs and body will soon suprise you at how much you can do. Keep at it girl, you are doing great!
