Tuesday Tuesday

I went and ran 3 miles this morning. About died....but I did it! Tonight I plan to add some new music to my ipod. I am tired of my mix right now.

I had a low cal day yesterday, but decided today that I am going to go back to what worked for me when I lost weight 6 years or so ago.

I was eating the following:
B: protein shake
S: protein shake
L: Chicken breast, brown rice and a veggie
S: protein shake or fruit
D: Same as lunch

I was working out 45 mins a day on the elliptical and the weight FELL off me! This is about 1200 cals a day and totally doable once the first week or so are under my belt. I plan to grocery shop tonight and prepare a bunch of chicken and rice so that each night I can pack it up for lunch at work. I have a my protein shakes already and plan to get a few pieces of fruit for the rest of the week. I DONT like fruit....but I know it helps satisy my sweet cravings that I get every now and again.

I hope if I can get back into the habit of this eating for a month or so and the weight comes back off that I will be motivated enough to stay working on it. When I lost before I got to 155lbs ish and was able to maintain there until I got pregnant eating regular food just not OVER eating it. By the time I had lost 45 lbs I was feeling so good I didnt want to eat the CRAP that I am now.

Gotta DIG DEEP!

Man I miss running! I got up to 3 miles while the weather was cooler but once it started to heat up here I quit. Today is 112 degree with a low of 89! I wish I lived in washington or someplace cool!
Ah well..... Thanks Jen for motivating me again!

I think that's a terrific food plan!

I have never done protein shakes--wouldn't even know where to get them. Well, I have seen the powder at GNC, but I know nothing about it.

Fantastic job on your 3 miles! WOO HOO
