Day 22 - Ticker

So I added a ticker to my blog. My weight loss partner and I are going to make small goals for ourselves, a little a time! So I am starting with 25lbs from my start weight. Then once I hit 193, I will make a new one and see how the plan I am on is working and tweak it from there.

I did not go to my meeting today (with the gals from church) because I am babysitting (last night) my niece who is just a few months older than my daughter. We headed to the mall today for a Princess Garden Party at the disney store. They got to wear their princess dresses, play some games and decorate a tea cup. Then they shared a pretzel and a slurpee and we headed home to play some more. My boys did really good today, Jackon (who is 3) was very patient during the princess stuff and Josiah just hung out in the stroller with minimal fuss. That always helps for a much calmer day!

I weighed at home and was down .8. Not a gain, but not quite what I was hoping for. I did have a few things this week that were not on the plan I am trying to keep up with, but I do have AF visiting so I know that has a bit to do with it. I am happy at my progress with my water this week, I have drank more each day than I ever have in my life :)


Tonight is movie night for the students in our youth group. So I made a ton of popcorn for my hubby to take. I did have a few bites of each, just to try the flavor combinations I made.

Tonight I am struggling. My kids are in bed, hubby is gone. My usual time to eat crap. I got some cracker chips (special K) at the store today, opened them. GAG so tasteless and gross. Then I got a cupcake (that I also made earlier), took one taste of it and crumbled it into many many pieces. I have a house full of food since I just went grocery shopping, but nothing sounds good but junk I cant have. So I made some noodles and sprinkled them with some parm cheese and called it a night. I have made a nest for myself on the couch, all nice and warm, so I wont get up and visit the kitchen again. I am full, left 1/4 of the noodles in my bowl, have my water filled up...... I figured I would come blog, read some blogs for insipration and some motivation to keep me on my couch and not in the kichen.

I made a menu for the whole week, all meals included. I got some new recipes to try as well as the stuff to make many salads for both hubby and I. Tomorrow night he is at youth, I am home alone yet again. BUT I have a plan, to premake my salads, cook my chicken for the week and get the soup I am making for monday ready.

Being alone is always a trigger for me. My plan for the next time I'm alone is to keep myself very, very busy!!!

I find it really hard when I am home alone - good job on having the noodles and getting on the blogs to stay busy!

Way to go on reading blogs for inspiration instead of eating! I always have trouble when I just want to snack, snack, snack! Next time Im gonna try that tactic. Thanks!
