Day 31

Hard to believe we are at the end of January already. I lost 6.4lbs in Jan. Not bad, but definitely not where I could be.

I had a great birthday weekend. Friday night I stayed on the plan I laid out for myself (with a soup change). Tomato Bisque, side salad and 2 pita bread sticks. I did have 3 drinks, but still feel good with my eating. Now comes the bad news. Saturday was rough. After dinner Friday night a few of us went to the church to organize the garage sale stuff, didn't get in bed until after midnight. I had to be there at 6am the next morning. I had a Starbucks white mocha and 2 slices of pizza the entire day. Then came dinner. 6 of us were there. We shared the nachos, I had 6ish. Hubby and I split our dinners. He had a Parmesan crusted chicken breast and I got the pizza. I had one slice of pizza and about 8 bites of his chicken and a small scoop of mashed potatoes. 3 drinks....and then dreaded pazzookie came out. I didn't have any of the ice cream but probably ate at least half of the cookie. Sunday we had a bbq at my parents house. I didn't eat THAT bad, but didn't eat much. I had nothing until after 1. Then a few pieces of bread and some dip, few chips and dip, one sausage with some peppers and onions, some baked beans and a few bites of corn. Then had a small piece of birthday cake with my sister (birthday 2 days before mine). I didn't eat anything for dinner (got distracted with my cricut) and around 9pm had some popcorn while I watched a show with my hubby.

Now while I know my eating was crappy. I do know that on MANY others birthdays it has been MUCH worse. I feel decent about how I did and know that I am back on track today and that's all that counts.

My goals for the week are:
1. Drink more than 80oz of water a day
2. Workout at least 5 days this week. JUST GET MOVING!
3. Do my hair and makeup and dress decent. (YAY for this. I feel better already on day one)
4. Track my eating!

My friend Lindsay (THANKS!!) gave me her on-line weight watchers membership for 14 weeks. So I will track my points and stuff for the next 14 weeks and see how I am liking it. If it works for me, I might sign up. Today was day one. Got a coffee this morning at Starbucks, it used to be 7ish points...now its 10. Lesson learned! I think I need to give hubby my gift cards so the temptation isn't there to stop on my way by!
