Day 28

Well I weighed in today since I am not going to my meeting tomorrow because I have to be at church for garage sale at 6am (on my birthday gag). I am down a lb. Maybe tomorrow it will be a tad more, but I will stick my one pound. I feel ok with it. I am making progress.

1. Closer to GOD!
2. Drinking more water (averaging 70oz a day)
3. Feeling LESS bloated (pants feel better!)
4. Planned my meals all week and stuck to it!
5. I lost a lb (better than gaining!)

this week Michelle and I have added some new items to our list of becoming healthy!
1. Continue our water!!
2. Plan PLan PLAN!
3. Moving at least 5 days this week. Even if its a 15 min walk or lifting cans of corn for our arms....we have to do SOMETHING!
4. Wear makeup and do our hair everyday.

#4 is a big deal to me. Everyday I have to dress decent for work. You know khaki pants, dress pants with a sweater and some cute flats (I LOVE cute flats!). But I don't wear makeup and 9/10 my hair is either in a barrette and a pony tail or in a pony tail with a headband. I know how much better I feel when I take a few minutes to put on at least mascara and leave my hair down and GASP maybe even curl it. I know hubby LOVES it. I just don't take the time.

This morning the girls from work brought in breakfast for me. Since we just had cake 2 days ago for another co-worker they decided on breakfast. I was hoping it would be something I could grab, come back to my office and ditch it in the trash. BUT it was everyone gather in the conference room to eat. So I got 1 small piece of each breakfast casserole. Honestly they were good, but I could have easily skipped it! So tell me, is there a tactful way to get out of that situation without eating? I mean I can always say sorry I am dieting, but I just had a small slice of cake the other day. I am full now, more full than I like to feel after breakfast, not because I ate a lot, but I think because I don't typically eat much more than a packet of oatmeal or a protein shake.

Be praying for me as I go through my birthday weekend full of temptations!!!
