So I got up this morning in a funk. Annoyed that I have to deal with losing weigh, didn't get good sleep because my littlest J is sick and was up and down alot last night :( I got out the door and on the road, texted my bestie Michelle, she gave me a pep talk! She helped turn my funk into fire. WE CAN DO THIS! I have to stop looking at this as a "diet", but as a lifestyle change. I can NEVER go back to eating fast food half the week, I can NEVER go back to soda all the time, I can NEVER go back to skipping breakfast or having Starbucks instead. I just CANT. I know I can have those thing again, in moderation, but for now, to get this weight off, I HAVE to be focused!
Today is a co-workers birthday, we usually get a cake from the grocery store (GAG). I usually eat the gross cake knowing its not going to taste that good. Being a baker, maybe I have higher standards HA! I got a recipe for a Neapolitan cake, it had pink frosting. The gal here LOVES pink (her wedding dress was pink) so I made it last night. I wont go into detail with this being a blog about trying to LOSE weight...but let me tell you it will take all the willpower I HAVE to NOT have any, nor any of the cupcakes (same recipe) I made for life group tonight. I plan to have a bit, to taste it, you know because I will add to my business if it tastes good. but that's IT. A TASTE, not a whole pieces...a taste and a picture!
Yesterday's Eats
B: oatmeal, coffee with ff creamer
L: salad (taco meat, cheese, lettuce, black beans, small bit of salsa and sour cream as dressing)
S: pudding cup
D: Chicken, Noodles, Veggies
S: popcorn
T-Minus 3 days until I am 35. WOWZERS
