Here I am.....

I have no excuses for not posting here more. I have time at work and just have neglected posting my eating. I have eaten healthy all week. Trying to stop when I am full and drink my water. I got a journal to carry around to start writing my food down in.

I have been to the gym 2 days this week and worked out on my elliptical at home one other day. So 3/4 days and I will go tomorrow ..so thats not bad!

However tomorrow night is my anniversary...Outback...beer....bowling...beer. I plan to eat whatever I want...

See come the new week I start a new plan...with a personal trainer...who happens to be my brother in law. He is formulating me a plan of eating the right foods and calories and what I need to do for my workouts to burn the most fat while gaining the most muscle.

The only thing he said that scared me was my goal weight....

ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE POUNDS!! WHAT? ME?? NO WAY??

but you know what? I WANT IT...I want to see if I can get there....might not be for a year, but crap I have not weighed under 150 lbs since I was 17 years old (16 years people)

This morning I pushed myself hard on the treadmill. I walked up hill for 15 mins (6.0 incline at 3.6 speed) then did 1 min intervals..from 3.5 walk to slow my heartrate to 4.2 then up to 5.2 for 15 mins, then I cooled off for 5 mins after that.

I FEEL GREAT TODAY!

The bad news...I am back up to 199lbs. I ahve been eating ok and working out so I am not sure what the deal is. I am getting my IUD taken out because of all the bad things I have read about it and weight gain. I dont need anymore help with that thankyouverymuch!

I am proud of you for NOT letting the scale keep you from working hard.

You are doing this -

I'm super excited to see your progress w/ the new plan and exercise! :) :) I will be jealous, too. Hee hee.

IUD and weight gain???? can you send me the info?

Enjoy your anniversary. You're inspiring me to get up and work out in the mornings.

Enjoy your anniversary!! I just celebrated my birthday last night and I felt it this morning. YUCK! Keep up your hard work and I can't wait to hear how things go with your new trainer.

As for the IUD, I have never really heard of those side effects. I had a 10 year one before and now have the Mirena. I really love it. I guess it is so different for everyone. I used to have norplant and gained almost 70 lbs in one year. Do what your body needs and keep going at it. :)
